News…

Whoever invented broadband connection to the internet should be killed. After several years of DSL connection, I can't live without it! I am frustrated with this dial-up thing. For starters, your net activities are announced publicly by the very loud and irritating screech of the modem. Secondly, the charges are simply exorbitant! You pay much more for something so slow precisely because it's soooooooooooo slow. Sure, you can download apps designed for faster surfing but it creates just as many problems as it solves.

I spent a weekend with Cliff. We had this exchange of emails after he'd left for home. It seems that we are getting so close to the limits of this relationship that the danger of crossing over to the next level is becoming apparent. Yet, we promised to see each other again the next time he comes into town. More on the emails when I get more time.

It's Saturday and so I can spend some time waiting for this dang connection to happen.

Thank you, MRR! I finally got over the flu. And welcome, all new readers! Thanks, everyone, for being so cool!

Very interesting blog. I've been here in Singapore for a few months and have been reading some local blogs and noticed that like yours, the more graphic blogs are the ones written in better English. Or is it that I am able to enjoy it more because the reader can express herself? Try reading this gal's blog sarongpartygirl@blogspot.com. You do have a lot in common. Have fun babe!

Internet connection is like life, you want a broadband but fate handed dial-up instead.

Like life we move on(or not), freting at how the dial tone screeches. All the while lusting at how fast broadband was, how we miss the good old days.
