I've been busy with work to do much writing. I wanted to write about my Dale and his drunken phone call from Hong Kong last Monday evening. Drunken seems to be stretching it a bit; he had a bit too much to drink. There. I'm meeting him tomorrow. Hopefully we do get to meet. I've missed him.
Things haven't exactly been exciting lately. Too quiet. I guess it's all that doom and gloom hanging heavily in the air. Typhoons, tsunamis, mudslides. War. What's next? I don't dare speculate.
Sent Tom an email asking how he was doing. He's not in Southern California, I know, but the last offline message I got from him was dated 10 January. Still haven't checked on when the mudslide occurred (haven't time) but I do hope he's safe.
My car's still at the motor shop so I'm taking the public transport. As pollution wreaks havoc on my lungs, I counter it with Ventolin tabs, taken every six hours, but the med's wreaking havoc on my nerves. I can't control the tremors. At least, I won't go down with a super attack that can last up to three weeks. At least, I hope I don't. It's happened twice before. Every year, I try and get used to the pollution but I give up after a couple of months.
It's a losing battle.
